LumaWindow is built to know as little about you as possible. This page covers the app, this website, and buying a licence.
The app
- LumaWindow has no account and sends no analytics or crash reports.
- It uses macOS Accessibility to find, follow and arrange windows. It reads window titles only to show them in its panel and to match rules you create, and it never reads what is inside a window. It never asks for Screen Recording.
- Your rules, scenes and settings are stored on your Mac, in LumaWindow's own settings. Window titles are stored only when you save a rule or a scene that names one.
- Once a day, if you leave update checks on, LumaWindow asks getlumawindow.com whether a newer version exists. That request includes the LumaWindow version and, like any web request, your IP address. Turn it off in Settings → General.
- Feedback is sent from your own mail app. You see the full report, including the details LumaWindow adds (versions, Mac model, display sizes and which features are on), before you press Send.
This website
The site uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts or fonts. The hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and operations.
Buying a licence
Purchases are handled by Dodo Payments, which acts as the reseller (merchant of record). Dodo Payments collects your payment details, email address and billing country to process the payment, calculate tax and send your receipt and licence key, under its own privacy policy. We receive your email address, name and order details so we can support your licence. We never see your full card details.
